S550 Mercedes in for paint correction and Ceramic pro 5 layers!

An elegant, classy and prestigious automobile like the S550 built by Mercedes deserves the same level of attention when it comes to both the detail, as well as the finish.

We performed our signature paint correction to remove any blemishes and imperfections from the clear coat. Upon final inspection of the paint, ensuring scratches were removed; we proceeded to apply 4 layers of Ceramic Pro 9H and one layer of Light to all painted surfaces, trim and chrome. The panoramic glass roof, as well as the rear window and windshield were coated with Ceramic Pro. The wheels were thoroughly cleaned, prepped and coated with Ceramic pro 9H and Light.

The amount of protection this beautiful Benz now has is second to none. The paint no longer has to be waxed. Ceramic pro, with enough layers, adds extreme scratch resistant properties, anti graffiti, anti static, hydrophobic, and extreme heat resistance up to 1300°F. On wheels, brake dust is cut down and they become clean with little effort. These are just the attributes that protect the finish.

Another 9 custom classics and 2 automobilia detailed for Barrett Jackson Scottsdale 2015!

Every year we have the opportunity to detail extraordinary creations made by Memory Lane Auto Brokers. This year for Scottsdale's Barrett Jackson was no exception. 9 Custom Classics and 2 Automobilia received anywhere from our Deluxe Stage 2 Paint Correction, to our finest Concours Detail. The list of cars are as follows:

We ensured every blemish from the time each vehicle was painted and built were removed before they were delivered to the auction. Since most of the vehicles were black, much attention was needed to make each and every one of these pieces look like a million bucks.

Paint correction was key, but it was the fine details under the hoods and in each interior that tied the vehicle's appearance together at the end.

We also had fellow members of the Detail Mafia and Detailer's Network intern with us for part of the duration of this detail-extravaganza. Both traveling from Washington state, Bill The Buffman's Shae Morissey and Clean Planet Auto Detailing's manager Gabriel spent a couple days jeweling out the '52 Cadillac roadster with us. Ken Crone of Shiner's Auto Detailing from Monterray, CA spent most of the time with us on several of the cars.

2011 Porsche GT3 Ceramic Pro Treatment AZ

A 2011 Porsche GT3 with 7,700 miles doesn't sound like it needs much. Upon our initial assessment, it needed paint correction. Speaking with the client when he brought it in for its makeover, he decided he wanted the car not only completely transformed after we corrected it; he wanted it protected and to have a reflection like no one's ever seen on white paint before.

First we washed, clayed, and prepped the surface prior to compounding and polishing the paint. We masked off all trim and rubber with low-tack painters' tape to ensure no damage was done to these delicate areas. We then proceeded to compound and polish the paint with our Deluxe Stage II package, yielding around 90+% perfection on this car.

We also applied our 6+ month permanent tire shine (coating) that keeps tires looking clean and shiny no matter what you drive through. The wheels were coated as well. This drastically cuts down on brake dust and dirt that adheres to wheels, especially when a car like Porsche has soft brake pads and dust very quickly. This not only keeps wheels cleaner, longer and protects them from corrosion; it makes clean-up as easy as rinsing your wheels off with water.

Finally, our 3-5 year glass coating by Ceramic Pro was applied to all painted surfaces. This adds extreme slickness, as well as a deep reflective shine to the paint. Aside from the cosmetic benefits; this coating has 100% UV protection, makes the surface extremely hydrophobic and adds scratch resistant properties. Bugs, tar, mud, gum, and sap can be wiped off with ease if they latch on the surface. We finished up this gorgeous GT3 with our express interior just to spruce up the inside a bit.

The client literally came to pick his car up and said, "wow, my car doesn't even look real anymore". He could not believe his white Porsche could have a shine and reflection better than most people's dark colored cars.
