A 302 Mustang got her coat groomed with One Step Paint Correction

The 1969 Fastback Mustang...a classic that has so much muscle, it still flexes today in 2012. This mustang has a 302 V8, shaker hood, and hood pins to keep all those ponies tamed.

Starting as a project car, this stallion has a documented and photographed history that any car enthusiast could appreciate. It's amazing how a car can come from nothing, and with a lot of TLC can transform into an icon from nearly 45 years ago.

We did a thorough hand wash to remove the bulk of road dirt and grime. We then prepared the paint for polishing by using a non-abrasive soapy lubricant and clay to remove all surface contaminants imbedded in the clear coat. This makes the paint extremely smooth and cleanses the clear coat for the next step: compound/polish.

After applying a durable paint sealant, we had our client pull her out in the sun for a true final inspection...needless to say, with just one step, about 90% of all minor surface imperfections were removed. The sunset orange pearl paint lit up like a neon light when in broad daylight.
