Motorcycle & Custom Chopper Detailing

Yesterday we received a phone call from a client of ours to detail a custom chopper built for the winner of the Indianapolis 500 race in 2004. This bike sat in storage for some time before we got our hands on it.

Dusty and crusty, this needed some serious attention

After doing a thorough wash to remove major grime and dirt, we pulled it in to get a closer eye on what mattered: the details.

With steam and various products, we cleaned every nook and cranny of the engine, wheels, calipers, and handle bars that we could, making the chrome shine like-new. We also polished the gas tank along with the front and rear fenders to remove minor surface scratches, leaving the air brushed artwork nearly flawless. This is our Deluxe package for custom choppers.

A couple hours later, this custom chopper didn't even look like the same bike.

2012 Lamborghini Aventador: The Champion of Bulls

When it comes to luxury and performance, Lamborghini spares no expense in cosmetic & aerodynamic refinement, as well as attention to solid performance. This is what we believe makes Lamborghini the icon-exotic its become today. Right out of Italy, the 2012 Aventador packs quite a punch. Pushing 700 horsepower with 509 ft-lb torque, you'll surely get the horns from this bull if you mess with it on the street.

The color of this car is "Grigio Estoque", an upgradable option from Lamborghini. It's the same car/color combination as the Aventador that makes its appearance on the big screen of Chris Nolan's Batman: Dark Knight Rises.

The Aventador had the entire front nose protected by PPF (paint protection film). Seamless, it looked as though the car had nothing on at all.

So where do we come in? We performed a waterless wash on the entire car, using a dirt-encapsulating cleaner that traps dirt within a lubricated capsule so that when wiped, does not scratch the surface. After doing so, we wiped down the wheels using the same method and technique as well as the door jambs and engine bay.

Moving onto the interior, a quick wipedown and vacuum is all the Lambo needed to be spruced up. We applied our non-fling tire shine along with a paint sealant to really make the metallic flake absolutely pop in the sun.

A 302 Mustang got her coat groomed with One Step Paint Correction

IMG_7807.JPG

The 1969 Fastback Mustang...a classic that has so much muscle, it still flexes today in 2012. This mustang has a 302 V8, shaker hood, and hood pins to keep all those ponies tamed.

Starting as a project car, this stallion has a documented and photographed history that any car enthusiast could appreciate. It's amazing how a car can come from nothing, and with a lot of TLC can transform into an icon from nearly 45 years ago.

We did a thorough hand wash to remove the bulk of road dirt and grime. We then prepared the paint for polishing by using a non-abrasive soapy lubricant and clay to remove all surface contaminants imbedded in the clear coat. This makes the paint extremely smooth and cleanses the clear coat for the next step: compound/polish.

After applying a durable paint sealant, we had our client pull her out in the sun for a true final inspection...needless to say, with just one step, about 90% of all minor surface imperfections were removed. The sunset orange pearl paint lit up like a neon light when in broad daylight.
